Gauhati University Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2023 Details
The Gauhati University Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2023 will be conducted offline for admission to the PG programmes offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. The exam will take place on July 15, 16, and 17, 2023, at nine exam centres. Candidates are required to appear for the PGET to be considered for admission for the academic session 2023-24.
Gauhati University PG Programmes Seat Reservation Policies
For the traditional programs offered by Gauhati University, 70% of the seats will be reserved for Gauhati University candidates, while the remaining 30% will be open for candidates from other universities. However, there will be an exception for the MSc in Geology program, where the seat reservation ratio will be reversed, with 30% reserved for Gauhati University candidates and 70% open for candidates from all universities, including Gauhati University.
