HQ Goa Naval Area Selection Process 2021:
When the number of applications received (for posts with Matriculation as an educational qualification) is excessive in comparison to the number of vacancies, and it is not practical or possible for the Department to call all of the candidates for the written test, the Indian Navy may, at its discretion, limit the number of eligible candidates whose applications are registered by shortlisting on merit in the ratio 1:25 to the number of vacancies based on the marks obtained in the written test. Simply meeting the basic selection criteria does not guarantee that a person/applicant will be invited to take the written test.
