The selection process for IB ACIO Grade II consists of the following steps:
- Written Exam: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Analytical abilities.
- Descriptive Test: Evaluation of writing skills in English.
- Interview: The final stage of selection which assesses the overall suitability of the candidate for the job.
IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2023
The exam pattern for IB ACIO Grade II is as follows:
- Written Exam: The written exam consists of two parts: a. Part 1: Objective Type MCQs covering General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Analytical abilities. b. Part 2: Descriptive Test in English to evaluate writing skills.
- Total Questions: 100 MCQs in Part 1, 50 marks each.
- Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes for Part 1 and 1 hour for Part 2.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in Part 1.
- Total Marks: The written exam is 100 marks.
- Interview: The final stage of selection will carry 25 marks.
