1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) /Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 08 Posts
Eligibility Criteria for IIT Madras Job Notification 2025
Educational Qualification:
Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology / Bioprocess Engineering/ Molecular Biology/ Polymer Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Biochemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science/ Polymer Processing/ Material Science and selected through a process described any one of the following,
a) Scholars who are selected through NET and GATE
b) The selection process is carried out by central government departments, their agencies, and institutions, including DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, llT, llSc, llSER, NISER, and others, through national level examinations. (The prerequisite for SRF is two years of research experience, which is the qualification required for JRF.)

Salary Details
The Salary is given for Rs. 37,000 + 24% HRA pm for JRF/ Rs. 42,000 + 24% HRA pm for SRF
