Indian Air Force Job Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational Qualification
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Hindi Typist
(i) 12th pass
(ii) Skill Test norms on computer English typing @ 35 words per minute (WPM), or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute(WPM) (35 words per minute(WPM) and 30 words per minute(WPM) correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour or 9000 Key Depressions per hour on an average of 5 Key Depressions for each word)
Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)
(i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.
(ii) Must be holding a valid Civil Driving Licence for light heavy vehicle (LMV) and heavy vehicle (HMV).
(iii) Must possess professional skill in driving and Basic knowledge of motor mechanisms.
(iv) Minimum 2 years experience in driving motor vehicles.
Age limit:
1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 18-25 years
2. Hindi Typist – 18-25 years
3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 18-25 years
Age Relaxation:
For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
For OBC Candidates: 3 years
For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
For PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
