Indian Navy Job Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational Qualification
A Applicant must have minimum Sixty Percent marks in English in class 10th or 12th and one of the undermentioned educational qualification with minimum Sixty Percent overall qualifying marks,either or both of the following choices: – (a) B.E/B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ IT/ Software Systems/ Cyber Security/ System Administration & Networking/ Artificial Intelligence / Computer Systems & Networking/ Data Analytics), OR(b) MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology).NCC Candidates:National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ certificate holders will be given relaxation of Five Percent in cut off marks towards shortlisting for SSB subject to meeting the following criteria:- (i) Having National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ of Naval/Army/Air Wing with minimum ‘B’ Grade. (ii) Served fornot less than 02 academic years in the Senior Division, Naval/Army/Air Wing of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). (iii) ‘C’ certificate should not be dated prior to 01.06.2022.
Age Limit:
Between (Both Dates inclusive): 02 Jul 2000 to 01 Jan 2006
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
- For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
- For OBC Candidates: 3 years
- For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
- For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
- For PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
- For Ex-Servicemen Candidates: As per Govt. Policy
