1. Head Constable/CM –

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Skill Test Norms: Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi only on the computer. (35 w.p.m. in English/30 w.p.m. in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with an average of 5 keys depression for each word on the computer).

2. ASI (Stenographer)  –

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Skill Test Norms: a) Dictation -10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. b) Transcription -50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on the computer.

Age Limit

ITBP job required a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 35 years (as of 01-Jan-2022) with good sprite.
