Candidates who have submitted their application form can make necessary corrections until 11:50 pm on neet.nta.nic.in. It is important to note that additional fees may be applicable for certain corrections.

What are the corrections that can be made during the window?

The correction window allows candidates to make changes to a variety of fields, including mother’s or father’s name (any one), category, sub-category, exam city, medium, and qualification including year of passing Class 10 and 12. Non-Aadhar verified candidates can also change their name, mother’s name or father’s name (any one), date of birth and gender, category and sub-category, city and medium, and qualification including year of passing Class 10 and Class 12.

What are the limitations during the correction window?

Candidates must note that they cannot change their mobile number, email, permanent and current address during this window. Those who change category and sub-category will have to submit supporting certificates. In case of change in Gender, Category, or PwD, if there is an impact on the fee amount, then the Candidate will be charged an excess fee as applicable. Excess payment made will not be refunded, if any.

What happens if a correction is not made during the window?

Once the application form correction window is over, no further chance will be given to aspirants to make any kind of corrections to their applications, NTA said. Therefore, candidates are advised to make corrections carefully during the given time frame.

Steps to NEET 2023 application form correction:

Step 1: Visit the official website

To make any corrections in the NEET 2023 application form, candidates must visit the official website of the NTA, i.e., ntaneet.nic.in.

Step 2: Log in

Candidates should log in by entering their application number and password. After logging in, they need to click on the ‘application form correction’ link.

Step 3: Review the application form

Candidates must review their application form carefully and identify any errors or discrepancies. They can make the necessary changes in the application form by clicking on the edit button.

Step 4: Submit the corrected application form

After making the necessary changes, candidates should submit the corrected application form. They will receive a confirmation message on their registered mobile number and email ID.
