The Flash Season 10 Story
The Flash Season 10 will pick up from where the last season ended, with Bart and Nora West-Allen warning their father about the threat posed by the Red Death. The arrival of the Red Death was much slower than anticipated due to an accident with the Reverse Flash. The Red Death is set to become the fastest racer of all time, but not until he becomes a member of the Anti-Speed power, a rated force formed of antimatter. Team Flash is on a mission to capture the Red Death, but when they finally do, he launches a missile towards Metropolis. Superman destroys it and tosses it into the lake, causing Red Death to leave for another planet.
When the Monitor appears, Barry and Team Flash learn about the black multiverse and a different multiverse. The Monitor also discloses that Bruce Wayne, better known as Batman of Planet -52, is the Red Death. This particular variant of Batman went mad when he lost too many of his sidekicks and began to believe that if he had the Flash’s speed, he could catch and kill the Joker.
As the struggle between Barry and Daniel begins, Pollux pushes Barry out of the way so that he can engage in combat with Reverse Flash. In the end, Pollux is able to triumph against Reverse Flash by sacrificing himself. The members of Team Flash are shaken up by his death, but Earth 90 Flash consoles them by assuring them that Pollux was essentially Barry and by asking them how they should act now that Barry is no longer with them. They go to Earth 49’s Iron Heights to release the Flash confined there and then return to Earth 1 and continue their regular activities there.
