Educational Qualification

1. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed
2. Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed in accordance with the NCTE, Regulation, 2002
3. Higher Secondary with at least 45% mark and 4-year B.El.Ed
4. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
5. Graduate and 2-year D.El.Ed

Candidates must have passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper-1

Age Limit

(i) The upper age limit for the Applicants belonging to General Category for appointment by direct recruitment to this selection is 53 years of age as on 01.07.2024.

(ii) Also the upper age limit for the Applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW of all castes is 58 years of age as on 01.07.2024.
