Telangana Group 3 Exam Syllabus

The TSPSC Group 3 Exam syllabus typically includes the following subjects:

TSPSC Group 3 Exam Pattern 2023

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group 3 Exam pattern consists of two stages: the preliminary examination and the main examination.

  1. The preliminary examination is a multiple-choice objective test that consists of 150 questions from General Studies and Mental Ability. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
  2. The main examination is also a multiple-choice objective test that consists of 2 papers: Paper I and Paper II, Paper III. Paper I is on General Studies and Paper II are on History, Polity & Society, and Paper III: Economy and Development-emphasis on Telangana State. Each paper consists of 150 questions and the duration of each paper is 150 minutes.
  3. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Main examination and the interview.

TSPSC Group 3 Syllabus – Subject Wise 

  1. General Studies and General Abilities: This section covers topics such as Indian history and culture, geography, polity and governance, economy, ecology and environment, science and technology, and current events. It also tests the candidate’s general abilities such as numerical ability, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  2. History, Polity, and Society: This section covers the history of Telangana, the Telangana Movement, the formation of the Telangana state, and also the society, culture, customs, and traditions of the Telangana state.
  3. Economy and Development: This section covers the economy and development of Telangana state, and also the welfare schemes implemented by the Government of Telangana.
