UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process
The UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process consists of following
- Written Examination
- Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests/ Medical Standards Tests
- Interview/Personality Test
- and Final Selection/Merit.
UPSC CAPF AC Exam Pattern
The UPSC CAPF AC Exam Pattern includes Objective (Multiple Answers) Type questions in both English and Hindi for Paper 1. Paper 2 allows candidates the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components, and other communication/language skills will be English only. Candidates should be aware that there is a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked in the Objective Type Question Paper.
Paper I: General Ability & Intelligence – 250 marks for 2 hours
Paper-II: General Studies, Essay & Comprehension – 200 marks and 3 hours
UPSC CAPF AC Exam Penalty Marks
For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty
