According to the notice, Wherever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in IES/ISS and CGSE Examination, 2020, the tie(s) have been resolved in accordance with the principles approved by the Commission. The result of UPSC IES ISS 2021 was released on 30 July 2021 based on the results of the written examination held from 16th to 18th October 2020 followed by interviews for the Personality Test in April 2021 and July 2021. According to this, 15 candidates have been selected for economic service and 50 for statistical service.
