WhatsApp Spotted Working: WhatsApp is gearing up for significant updates with new features aimed at enhancing user customization and creative expression. In the latest beta version of the iOS app, WhatsApp has been spotted working on a theme picker, allowing users to choose from five accent colors to personalize various aspects of the app’s appearance.
The theme picker functionality is designed to enable users to customize elements such as message counts on the chat list, the ring around status updates, colors of selected tabs at the bottom, and certain buttons on the interface. The five available accent colors include green, blue, off-white, pink, and purple, providing users with a range of options to tailor their WhatsApp experience.
In addition to the theme picker, WhatsApp is also introducing a sticker editor feature in its beta testing for iOS users. This feature eliminates the need for third-party sticker editors, as users can now edit existing stickers by tapping on them and using the “Edit Sticker” button. Furthermore, a “Create Your Own” button allows users to generate custom stickers directly within the app. Notably, this feature enables users to remove backgrounds from images when creating stickers, enhancing the creative possibilities.
It’s important to note that these features are either in the development phase or being rolled out to beta testers on iOS. Android users may need to wait a bit longer before these exciting features become available on their devices. WhatsApp continues to strive towards offering a more personalized and creative platform for its users with these upcoming enhancements.
